Waikino School After School Care Information
Waikino School is now signed off and ready to provide After School Care Services from 2.45pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
In order to begin this service we need to ensure that it we have enough children enrolled to make running an after school programme financially viable. Aside from a need to employ two staff members to run the service, the school also needs to ensure it is able to provide a meaningful and fun after school programme. Therefore the school will need at least 8 children enrolled to be able to go ahead in Week 3 as planned.
In the past we have had much interest in our school providing this service and we look forward to a positive response back from our community.
We also ask our current school families to spread the word about our After School programme within the wider Waihi, Waitewheta and Waikino communities as our programme is open to all school age children, not only children enrolled at Waikino School.
