We began the week by reviewing the rules. We decided whether we agreed with the rules or disagreed and recorded our thoughts on scatter graphs as a whole class. This sparked some interesting discussion as we thought about how we use the Native Area and what we'd like to do in there.
Beautiful picture from Tayha who drew so many birds in her Native Area. We have been so lucky to have so many birds come and make it their home.
Tayha has been showing her bravery in writing by trying all of the sounds she can hear. She wrote this great sentence straight into her big book. So awesome!
Claire (to the right) has written out a summarised version of the Native Area treaty and decorated it beautifully with lovely little details.
We drew some lovely pictures of our Native Area and what we like to do in there. Our big books are great for making sure we can fit everything we need into them.
Narisa drew this beautiful picture and wrote in her writing book.
"I love the Native Area. My favourite things are the big, beautiful trees."
This picture by Nicolas shows the lovely sunlight coming through the leaves and onto the ground. I am so pleased that the Native Area makes you happy Nicolas!
