Lego Movie Maker: Session Two-Creative Thinking
Food for thought...
Encouraging creative thinking using Lego Movie Maker
In Term 3 during a fortnight where our value was Creativity and on Discovery Day, Room 3 revised Lego Movie Maker.
Working alone or in pairs, we created backdrops, wrote story boards, set our scenes, made characters and then set about creating frame by frame our motion movies.
Patience was required and time management because we only actually had one hour for creating the movies.
Please leave the children a comment below on their outstanding work. I'm sure when you see how creatively they met challenges, you will be well impressed with their problem solving ability, decision making skills and how they develop their understanding of how to present their ideas.
Students who are competent thinkers and problem-solvers actively seek, use, and create knowledge. They reflect on their own learning, draw on personal knowledge and intuitions, ask questions, and challenge the basis of assumptions and perceptions." (NZC)
