In addition to Book Week, our school kicks off the Milk in Schools programme. Everyday at Fruit Break we will now be drinking Fonterra Milk as well. Julia Ranger gave us a demonstration at Assembly on Friday and 6 of our Year 5&6 leaders are fully trained and ready to help us learn all the ins and outs of how to drink and dispose of our milk cartons-it's amazing what happens to our rubbish, all of it get's recycled! Awesome!
Two information videos are linked below for those of you curious to know more about it.
Remember if you don't want your children to drink milk, you need to let the school know tomorrow.
Friday also marks our School X country being held this year on the Sorley Farm at Dickies Flat. It is a stunning location for our event and we are thankful to Alastair, Rachel and family for allowing us to host the event here. The children will be catching a bus to and from the event, parents will need to organise their own transport. We do hope you all can join us on the day! The event will be postponed to Monday 26 May if this fine weather doesn't hold up. A call will be made by 8.00am and notification will be sent out on Facebook, on this website or by ringing the school after 8.00am.
