What a busy and successful week we enjoyed. It certainly was action packed with BMX in Paeroa, School Athletics, Cluster Athletics and Round the Bridges. Well done to all the children involved in these events, you certainly make us proud! Thank you to the staff and parents who supported and helped organise these events also.
We are 5 weeks into the Term and have only 5 weeks remaining. Kauri Awards are due in this Friday and there is a flurry of last minute activity in the school as students finish their challenges for the year.
Prize Giving Assembly on the 14 December, our last day of school for the year.
This week we celebrate Athletics, with tomorrow's Athletics Day set to go ahead. The main focus of the day is to share what we have learnt and demonstrate our skills. A Year 5 and 6 team will attend the Cluster Athletics Day on Friday. A notice for those attending will come home today. Myself and Kath will be running shot put on the day-so parent support would be good to accompany our teams.
