Welcome back to all our families, we hope you had a fantastic holiday break. A special welcome to our new families. We look forward to getting to know you better, and we trust that you will feel right at home at our great little school.
In terms of staff you will see familiar faces all round: Starting in Room 3 with our youngest students, we have Kirsty Smith who is once again teaching our New Entrants and Year 1’s, ensuring that the transition into our school is a smooth and enjoyable one. In Room 2, Lauren Bartram is continuing to teach our Year 2’s and 3’s, with Carolyn Trebilco in Room 1, teaching our Year 4-6’s. Mr. B is currently on sick leave so there will be a relief teacher supporting her for this period. Julia Ranger is on board again as our excellent Teacher Aide, and our warm and welcoming face in the office is Jennifer McKinnon. Our cleaner and caretaker is Kevin Green.
Lauren Bartram is our acting principal while Mr B is on sick leave. Feel free to approach her or your
child’s class teacher if you need to discuss anything. If it’s a matter that might require more than a few minutes, we suggest you arrange a convenient time to meet after school - Jennifer in the office can help you with this.
We have an exciting term ahead, and we have great plans for 2017. As a Board we are passionate about supporting our staff and students to achieve great things. We value the contributions and support of our whanau and community, and we look forward to working together closely with you all this year.
