Our children have been discussing in class some of the things they have noticed in the Native area that need to be done. These have been brought back to the staff and put together for our list of things to do on Wednesday. We have made it possible to work the mid week afternoon's because we have enjoyed a good response at all our enviro-workshops this year during the week-especially if it is a chance to muck in with our kids.
The school BBQ will be set up for after the working bee and families are welcomed to have an evening picnic in the school to celebrate working together to help look after our native area. No doubt the kids will be full of beans and keen to play in the huts that they are planning after the punga foundations have been laid down.
